In this post I’m going to share a working method using which you can install Google Dialer for OnePlus 6 device. By default you are not allowed to install Google Dialer and it’ll show that “You device is incompatible” in play store. So let’s start how can we achieve this:
Pre-Requirement:
- Bootloader must be unlocked
- You must be rooted and Magisk Latest installed.
Now you should have your bootloader unlocked, TWRP and Magisk installed.
Let’s perform the next steps to install Google Dialer App and you will able to update it via playstore.
Steps to install Google Dialer for OnePlus 6 as Play Store app:
–> Right now I’m on H2OS P beta 5, magisk 17.1 installed but this is working on any OOS version.
–> Now download the Google Services Framework apk from apkmirror –> Link
–> This will update the old framework app.
–> Now install the magisk module for Google Dialer and contacts for OP5 and 5T.
–> Restart your device.
–> Now open play store app info and clear all the storage for this app.
–>Open Play store app and voila you can see that you can now update google Dialer like any other app.
